The Forever Fund Is Live – and the Energy Was Electric

Last Wednesday 28th January 2026 marked the official launch of the Forever Fund – and what a way to begin.

The room was full of energy, urgency and optimism as supporters, partners and allies came together around a shared ambition: to build long-term, sustainable funding for women and girls, by women, for women.

We heard powerful contributions from Vivienne Hayes, CEO of Women's Resource Centre and long-time champion of women and girls, who set out the case for lasting change in how the women’s sector is resourced, as well as Andrew Robinson (CCLA Investment Management), who spoke to the role ethical investment can play in creating real social impact. Marcia Lewinson from WAITS grounded the conversation in lived reality, reminding us what stable funding can mean on the front line.

One of the most rousing moments came from Seyi Akiwowo, founder of Glitch, author, and women's rights activist and campaigner, whose words lit up the room and captured exactly why this Fund matters now. We were also honoured to share a pre-recorded message of support from Jess Phillips, reinforcing the growing momentum behind the Forever Fund.

There was a real buzz throughout the event; a sense that this is something different, something bold, ambitious and radical – something that people want to be part of. The conversations didn’t stop when the speakers finished; they spilled into the room, into new connections, and into a shared determination to make this Fund a success.

The Forever Fund is now live, and we’re inviting you to be part of what comes next.
